WHY IS PUREFILL SUSTAINABLE ?

It is made from cork. This cork is harvested from a cork oak tree every nine years without harming the tree. It is environmentally friendly and non-toxic, a real plus for playing areas prone to flooding.

WHAT ABOUT PLAYERS PERFORMANCES?

Cork’s cell membranes are extremely flexible, compressible, and elastic. This means that regardless of the pressure put on the material, it will return to its natural shape. This flexibility creates a consistency within the surface, allowing players to feel secure and confident.

Thanks to its natural light brown colour, it also provides a natural soil aesthetic to your pitch.

FieldTurfNZ have experience installing and using tthe PureFill infill in FIFA and World Rugby certified systems worldwide. With over 600 fields installed since 2012, PureFill has a proven history of performance and durability.

HOW PUREFILL CAN HELP WITH HEAT CONCERNS ?

Cork’s low thermal conductivity means that the material naturally conducts less heat energy in comparison to traditional infill systems. Therefore, on hot and sunny days less heat is transferred within the surface, meaning a significantly cooler playing area without the need of irrigation.
